Bubblegum (TH Seeds)
An extremely stable, high-yielding commercial strain, it produces sturdy, symmetrical plants with a lot of side branches, ideal both for ScrOG and SOG setups. Thanks to its open bud structure the light easily penetrates down to the lower branches where dense little nuggets form. Trichomes cover not only buds and sugar leaves but even stalks. Bubblegum can grow under weak lights. This low maintenance strain is an ideal choice for beginners.
A strong and powerful, well-balanced high in the head and in the body. Mellow, giggly, pretty euphoric, it doesnt give you a couch-lock.

Bubblegum™ was our first contribution to the seed world in 1993. Over the last decade it has proven, through numerous awards and world wide fame, that this plant is here to stay. We successfully inbred and stabilised this plant for it’s most desirable characteristics, it’s fruity smell, thick lingering flavor and short soldier like stature. Bubblegum™ breeds true, and has been used by many seed companies to produce award winning hybrids, and will make a great cornerstone for your breeding program.
This is a true superplant!
Type: Mostly Indica
Height: 120-160 cm
Yield: 350-500 p.s.m.
Flowering Time: 55-60 days
I have grown BubbleGum as well as Heavy Duty Fruity from TH Seeds (thru Gypsy). I had very poor results with both. Lousy yields and mediocre buzz at best. Personally I'd stay away from that breeder. jmo.
I can't recommend Bubblegum for outdoors, if that is a consideration, but it smells nice and smokes nice.
yts farmer (grasscity.com):
i grew out 5 th seeds bubblegum about 4 years ago and got 2 females 1 pheno was an xmas tree type pheno and th other was a single cola pheno.throughout the grow both phenos smelt very pleasent and bud structure was very good on both plants, xmas tree type pheno was the best yielder but the single cola plant would of been excellent in a sog type grow.
cant tell you much about the finished product as my buddy who i grow with harvested these 2 plants and put them on drying screens right next to a heater with a fan blowing directly on th buds,as you can imagine th buds dried well to quickly and lost there sweet aroma and was coarse on the throat when smoking even after a cure.
I live in the midwest and i have clones and seeds from the original indiana bubblegum. that said i have also grown th seeds bubble gum, seious seeds version, and also nirvanas version. TH seeds is good but not best. strong flavor but plants grow way too branchy and take too long to finish. Serious on the otherhand is different. THeres is much better. still branchy but finishes faster and looks more like the bubblegum plants id grown. Nirvana though i think is actually best. plants grow short, yield bunches, and have true flavor/aroma. im not saying that any one is fake. Ive seen lots of indiana bubblegum from lots of farmers. Its popular for outdoor growers cause it sells for lots round there. but there are lots of breeds/phenos so depends on what you want. ANd indoor breeders have messed with it too so i suspect this is what the Dutch guys have. Bubblegum is an amazing strain one of my favorites. Youll definately be satisfied.
just bought some Bubblegum from TH. Reason being, I read a grow report which grew 3 strains of Bubblegum, one from TH, one from Serious and I can't remember which other place. Anyways, the grower dude rated the TH above the rest. Smoker/grower/through the grapevine story is that 3 diff phenos were gifted by some California matey to the owners of serious and TH and the other place (can't remember). So, Serious got the sativa one and TH got the more indica looking. I seem to remember reading that they may have worked on the strains further and considering that was back in '93, it's more than likely. There is a Bubblegummer strain from somewhere that people on here say is good, look on attitude you'll find it, if you're looking for cheap but effective. Bubblegum is a tasty strain, not the strongest. Hope this helps.
I had Serious and TH, my favorite is Serious, stinkwise and yieldwise...
josh the people (rollitup.org):
it grew great outdoors very low maintenance (really just used pond water for this one) i wish i toped it more as she loved it :) but theres always next time...
edit... i let it go for a little over a week after those pics... dry weight was just over 2 ounces of very mint smoke!
I grow bubblegum from th seed and it is a good strain with decent yields.I like it because it holds the bubblegum taste and smell good and my patients love it.
Jug Stomper (rollitup.org):
if you read about it online, they (TH and Serious versions) are both original, they used to work together or something, and when they split, one took the sativa pheno(serious) and TH took the Indica.
My first grow was THSeeds Bubblegum. I grew 5 and and got 3 females.
All were indica dom and very uniform in size and structure. They all smelled and mostly tasted like bubblegum, but there were some buds that just tasted bad. To the point that I was wondering if I got mold or something but could never see anything before or while breaking it up.
Could very well have been inexperience on my part, but its the only time anything like it has occurred and Ive probably done 4 or 5 (~15 plants total) harvests since.
Tolteca Empire (icmag.com):
Bear with me here... am a bit buzzed right now on some tasty Bubblegum. Ha ha ha... and one of the reasons I enjoy a bubblegum buzz..... is that almost everything makes me laugh. A very first class high... quite euphoric, with an overall "comfortable feeling".
THSeeds version is an easy grow, with a fat yeild and a nice 60 day flower time. The structure is rather "open" for an indica, so lots of light and air get to the buds. Its everything that the seed breeder claims it to be...
The taste is a bit more "menthol" than Bog's Bogbubble, but still has that sweet bubblegum flavor including the rather fuzzy finish to the taste... you know... remember that white powdery stuff that coated pink bubblegum one chewed as a child? ... yeah, thats what I refer to as "fuzzy".... *shrugs*
(on a taste scale... would have to say that I find Bog's to be a bit more to my likes)
First time I ever got truly high... I remember laughing and laughing for hours.
Guess thats why I kept getting high... trying to replicate that first experience
... its true when its said "you can't go back..", but the whole bubblegum experience is close to that...
the initial hits leave me focused on the flavor... then the euphoria comes on with the first wave of "rushes"... about the third hit... when you start to think "hey... this isnt all that potent..." the laughing begins, and you know that you are loaded. A big plus is... if you dont smoke too much of it... you can go to a party, have conversations with strangers and such... and as long as you need not appear to be very bright... well, you'll have fun even at the dullest affair. *smiles* In other words... its a good buzz to take with you on a first date.. (even if he is a bore... he'll believe that you find him to be most engaging and funny *winks*).
Overall, this is class A Marijuana. Has great bag appeal... nice fat buds, with large trichs ... people like the look of it... the smell is sweet, taste is 5 star... and has a great buzz. Does have "couchlock" to it.. so keep it down to 5 or so hits if you are headed out to play... otherwise, you might as well get the daybed ready, as you'll be flat on your back watching funny movies.
*NOTE* In keeping with the "new form"... I am a stoner. more than 10,000 days of almost 24/7. I smoke excellent pot...
As for finding a "keeper"... it was easy with the TH stuff... it is a very stable strain, and didn't find much difference between them.
the genetics sound solid - OG reports refer to uniform growth and size - so it may be near IBL which is good for home breeding. The OG strainguide has it a a big yielder.
I've had the pleasure to give both Bogbubble and THseeds OBG a run through. IMHO, it is no contest between the two, THSeeds wins hands down. This isn't to say the Bog is lacking positive attributes, but the TH bests it.
For starters, the Bog isn't nearly as stable as the TH. OBG is almost supernaturally uniform. To illustrate this, I got 67.5 grams, to the tenth, each, off of two females I grew out under a 250 watt MH in a small closet op.
The Bog is no sloutch, but has issues. My biggest complaint was hermie tendencies. I contacted Bog himself regarding this, and he admitted point blank that Bogbubble has hermie traits. He went on to laud THseeds bubblegum, saying what an excellent strain it is. He didn't have too much to say about the serious offering, but I believe he had positive feelings for it as well, although stating the TH version is the more authentic, from what I recall.
All in all, Bogbubble is a good strain, but you need to grow it out a few times to A: find a good mother, and B: tailour your garden to BB's needs. It does yeild high, and the final product is of a good quality, and it might even have a slight edge in the high department over THSeeds, but the bag appeal isn't nearly as good, the fragrance isnt as nice, and I believe the TH to have the taste in lock.
In all, I've grown a number of strains and keep coming back to THseeds. Its just a pleasure to grow. There are certainly others out there with better features, but they lack this or that. TH OBG is very well balanced, having a heavy yeild, a unique and pleasant high, nice taste, and very good bag appeal (better than that of the BOG IMO). It is an extremely easy one to manage, and I would recommend it highly to those with little experience, although it obviously has allure to the more experienced.
The ideal use for this strain is probably commercial use, on varrying scales. Someone who grows strictly for personal use may find a more unique product in one of the exotic varieties. However, TH is the best strain I've personally dealt with that has everything a commercial grower is looking for = ease of growth, yeild, and high quality. Even the aficionado should have a little BG in his collection.
THSeeds bubblegum roots up very easily and fast (+/- week), provided the right conditions are met.
