Sharksbreath (DNA Genetics)
Рейтинг в интернете
The smell in the flowering stage is weak but occasionally you may get a stinkier pheno. Sharksbreath is a heavy feeder and is a sturdy, low-maintenance plant. The buds are dense (beware of mold!) and very-very resinous. There are two phenos: 1) a 9-week skunk pheno with dense buds, 2) a lemon pheno that is a bit finicky, long-flowering, with less solid buds. Sharksbreath is quite bushy and responds well to topping and pruning.
Strong and long-lasting. It is a creeper. The initial clear head high that doesn't prevent you from thinking and socializing quickly gives way to an enveloping hazy couch-lock that kills any motivation. In larger doses it makes you sleepy.
The dried and cured buds have a quite strong smell and taste that are always pleasant and sometimes unique.

Along with an amazing flavor and smell, she is easy to grow. The Sharksbreath is a highly potent, top-notch weed and a connoisseurs delight. Short, stout plants pack on frosty and very dense colas. Feed her heavy and provide good airflow to prevent bud rot. She is best grown in a Sea of Green. This plant has been called the “cash crop” plant, yielding well above average! She is a good plant to breed with as she’s very stable and has proven herself as the mother to the Martian Mean Green! 2nd Hydro Spannabis 2009.

I am 2 weeks into Flower with my indoor 400w MH/ Sodium H grow, I have 3 very healthy plants at the moment lots of little white hairs so I know they are female, Been useing Bio Canna products and happy with the results as the side branches look great and already have a nice bud forming in the middle. Will update when the girls have been cropped.
im doing some sharksbreath outside and looks amazing! It has huge fan leaves and is getting tall and bushy shes gonna be a beast!
grew just one freebee.240watt induction 5000 kelven.organic nutes.yes it did hermy.i used dutchmaster/reverse.used as derected.removed male flowers.no seeds.:)got 33g dry/2gal. air pot.my guess would be about 25%thc/1.5cbd.tasted pine/watermelon/gum.high lasted 5hrs.not much oder.very good weed.
Grown in Oz, was a shit summer so the growing conditions weren»t the best. In the hot sun it would suffer quickly- so it needed some shade. It grew slowly and even slower in the budding stages. The buds remind white and cloudy for a while... so my patience grew low and I was cropping pretty early- the bud at the early stage 60% white & 40% brown was a good smoke and was more heady- the later buds and final buds were a different high... more of a body stone & you can feel yourself melting into the couch.
Lives up true to the "shark" strain, the strain which the likes of Rastafarian«s and Bob Marley made famous... right there is a big clue to it's high, a mellow, cloudy & still a social high. If you want a mellow high & a real body stone- then this is it- just don't expect to get much else done during your high... very lazy high.
As for growing- it's not for the beginner as it requires a little attention (especially in the heat or hot sun), grew well indoors during the hotter days in part sun/shade mix.
Harvest- was quite small, the buds were light and small. A lot of leaf in the buds and not a lot of Chrystal. It didn't suffer during early trimming of the buds.
Smoke was pretty good, has a fruity aroma, real mellow stone and quite addictive.

The Sharksbreath marijuana strain has an unusual name, but don’t let the silly name fool you, this is a top shelf strain if I’ve ever smoked one. Sharksbreath is an indica-dominant hybrid originally bred by DNA Genetics. The Sharksbreath marijuana strain is a cross between the Great White Shark strain and Lamb’s Bread. The smell from Sharksbreath is very sweet. I got a very strong body high, which is expected with an indica-dominant strain. However, Sharksbreath also gave me a euphoric feeling too, providing a couple of strong giggle sessions. Due to the fact that the Sharksbreath plant is short and stout, it’s a great strain to grow using the sea of green method.
lovely smoke, tho i prefer the chocolope by DNA, nice taste off the sharksbreath, good strong stoned too
Sharksbreath is the best all around bud I've grew.
It was high yield, great taste, great high.
My SB tree plant will get the chop tonight.
She smells soooooooooooo DANK!
All around great flavor...Yield was nice too.
Sharksbreath is one of my favorite smokes. So frosty!
The SB I've had was one of my top smokes, got it from a buddy so can't speak for yield or any of that.
ink the world:
This plant went through Hell and back again. She went under flashlights for 6 days during a power outage and then got flooded 3 weeks later. Due to the rough conditions I cant give a great report on growth, but she was strong willed :-)
She stayed alive so out of respect to her will to live I flowered her for 8.5 weeks under a 400 watt HPS.
it does have a smell, but doesnt smell like herb for the most part, has a faint whiff of a sandalwood incense or something like that. But yes it has a light smell, lighter than the other strains in my grow
Seems like it can take quite a bit. Used molasses every watering along w/ Jacks Classic Bloom once a week. Probably could have gone heavier w/ the nutes but due to all the trauma the plant took I wanted to be careful
Again, cant speak for yield. The tops were dense though.
This is why I decided to post, A+ bag appeal. Very nice green tone and covered in crystals, very very frosty.
The most distinct smelling pot Ive come across in 20+ years. Never smelled anything quite like this. Smell kind of like sandalwood and rootbeer? Yeah I know thats odd, like I said its very distinct. The smell is also very strong, will smell in a baggie in our pocket.
Just like it smells, very distinct tastes like no other pot ive ever had. Taste is mostly of a sandalwood kind of flavor w/ a small hint of root beer. More pleasant tasting than it sounds. I like the taste very much.
The High: A+
Heres where I was mucho surprised. The high is A+. Seriously was taken by how stoned a friend and I got from 3/4 of a joint. Both experienced smokers and we were both done and didnt have to finish an average sized joint.
Kind of a distinct buzz also, get very stoned almost couchlocked and then it clears into a clear type of buzz that last a while. Smoke too much and its couchlock city for ya.
Considering all this plant went through it still produced some A quality smoke. I'm ordering a 5 pack and adding the strain to my perpetual grow alongside Violator Kush and Hashplant Haze. The Sharksbreath will replace The Church in my grow. I highly recommend this strain and cant wait to get it into my grow.
my freebee of it didnt germ
Don't feel bad, mine didn't sprout either.
All my freebies have germinated even the sharksbreath.
I have a Sharksbreath going right now myself. I have babied it though and it is very healthy, medium tall and looking good.
my SB freebie germed but is the worst plant in my garden
my 6 pack fem had 2 distinct pheno's with my setup both having that distinct skunky ass sandalwood spice smell the 2nd pheno just had a lemon fuel taste on top of it which was divine by the way. This plant i consider to be on its own level for taste/smell just like jack herer is on its own level for taste and smell, Just very unique fantastic genetics.
the smell is light during the grow but soon as you chop and dry a day you better make sure no ones smelling cause stinks like a buss skunks wrecked into a feild of flowers and sandalwood or with the other pheno replace that flowery spice with lemony fuel
this strain is some of the best shit you guys can get!

I've grown numerous harvests of DNA Sharksbreath. I personally love it, and it is a favorite among many of my heavy smoking patients. I've gotten two main phenotypes, both equally good. One is a bit more skunky and has very dense indica buds, and the other has more of a citrus smell/flavor and slightly more fluffy nuggets.
Both produce a pretty even, clear headed stone with noticeable, but not overpowering physical attributes. It is a VERY resinous strain with large, long stemmed trichomes.
Potency and yield have been quite good for me. I grew some without intervention, and others I topped and trained around tomato cages.
I grow in a soil mix that is 5 parts Ocean Forrest, 5 parts Happy Frog, 2 or 3 parts Roots Coco mix, 1 part mushroom compost, 1 part Age Old potting soil. I then add 2 tbsp kelp meal, and 2 Tbsp Dolomite lime.
I use a mix of Age Old Organics and Advanced Nutrients. I do not follow any feeding schedule suggested by any companies. I look at and listen to my plants.
I vege under a mix of HO and VHO T5 lights and 6.4K Sunpulse MH 1000W.
I flower in a 11x11 room with 6,000 Watts of 3K and 10K Sunpulse MH lights in Daystar hoods on linear movers, cooled with the entire line of products from Hydro Innovations powered by a 2 HP Chillking Chiller. Co2 enriched via Hydrogen Pro burner. PPM controlled with sentinel digital meters.
It is a 8-9 week strain.
I just got an order of seeds and in it are three packs of Sharksbreath. It is definitely one of the strains I keep in the garden.
I grew out the citrusy fluffy pheno and it didn't do well in my grow room. I found the plant to be finicky and difficult to grow. Personally, I really like DNA Genetics Cole Train and Kandy Kush (especially the Skunk cross), but I found Sharks breath to be a whole new can of worms.
I'm all skunk and big bud in my experiences, and this strain requires different nutrient levels than these plants during flowering. Totally just my own learning experience. I expect it is a fine strain as I've heard nothing but good about it. I took a clone and I'm growing her out again, maybe it'll go better this time around... Veg was a breeze, it was flowering that threw her out of whak - so we'll see
Copped a zip of Sharksbreath today. Nice dense colas and a powerful skunky smell. Taste is delicious. Definitely worth a grow!
bag appeal: Very nice, Buds look frosted with trichs
smell: Buds smell is very slight, inside jar is spicy with light citrus undertone. smoke is very pungent smelling compared to what I usually smoke
taste: Earthy and robust, very palatable
color: green with heavy crystallization and lots of red hairs
high: Initial high is sativa like but the indica background kicks in heavy as the high progresses. All motivation melts away and the body gets heavy.
side notes: Causes munchies for sweets. Smoke seems to expand when it hits your lungs. When I drive baked it feels like a video game at night. Very low odor. Good weed for a night cap, not recommended for a morning/early afternoon smoke if you have anything to do that day. Smoked a dutch between three people and we all went cross eyed and kept having to stand up to keep from falling asleep.
I was privileged enough to have tried it w/ Rooster we hung out at my house and melted into the couch that stuff is as GOOD as it LOOKS!!! If it wasn't for the crisp air outside we would've fallen OUT! It tastes like that old time skunky chronic, the smell after u smoke smells like u just scared a skunk it's a superb strain if u have any muscle pains u wont that night. Oh this is definitely a strain u want to smoke when u have nothing planned or going to bed.

ive been growing some sharks breath cuttings for the last few mths an im hours from the chop so il upload some pics when its ready...can already say this strain is on the same level as buds grown in the dam...ive smoked abit of this bud off a few different growers and all has been amazing .smells crazy big colas .im going to get some seeds can get cuts and start from there...can get them from there thctalk shop if anyone wants to grow it....10times stronger than any cheese ive smoked in the dam or in uk.try it ppl!!
9 weeks flowering
im currently growing a SB along with mataro ble and NL, i hope mine turns out like urs m8....nice job!!! mine is a kinda tall plant but has a wicked smell about it...only 7 wks to go
just a little HU on the smoke of the SB.....well it took 11 wks to flower...couldv went 12...the smell is kinda medium strength and funky during flowering....but hold on....
i gave some of this to my m8 after a couple of days in a jar...humor me!....
he smoked 2 j's in his front room @9 & 10 am, left his flat and went out.....an hour later he recieves a phonecall from the police asking him to attend his tennancy immediadtly!....( the police were with a council guy who they got the fone number from)...
turns out te police went into thje flats for a warrant on some geezer downstairs and my m8 had reeked the whole 4 storey flats out wit 2 j's... so they turned over everyone on the same floor as my m8 as they couldnt decide where the smell was coming from.......if if done properly this is among the stinkiest weed i have ever come across when smoked...LMAO...the police even commented when they busted my m8 that it was the strongest smelling weed theyd ever come across...they thought he was growing...!
needless to say i freaked out ma moobs and deleted any pics i had of the grow but it yields well, funky aniseed/deep lime smell, PRONE TO BUDROT!!...hungry 4 nutes, and a very interesting stone...i cant think of no smarmy words to describe it....lol...........you have been warned!
ps....i must say the pheno i had did seem to have a good bit of sativa in it the buds wernt as dense as the pics above but im pleased as i was hoping on a lambread dom pheno.
Its ooofff the hook .dna i take off my hat 2you guys.3 or 4 times whiter than my white widow.thc levels on this plant blow me away
The sb is on the same level as exodus cheddar but tastes better for me I had to stop growing it in the end .I've seen abit of sb the last few mtg an it nothing compared to te one I had.....u don't know what til it gone an u can get it back
there are sum shit sharks breath about .sounds like u had the crap one.mine was uber stinky .couldn't smell the cheese plants in the same room
shark's breath was my first ever plant I grew. done it under a 150hps in cheapo soil with next to no growing knolage and the weed was still one of my all time fave's. shame I was a novice and could'nt do it proper justice.
I grew it nice plant, and I am no expert grower so I'd imagine done perfectlly she would be very nice, not one of my absolute favs, but right up there.
As mr swilly says though, DNA do better ones than SB, which is taking nothing away from the SB !
A friend of mne came home on her lunch break and we smoked half a bowl, couldn't finish it. She went off to work and came back half an hour later. Her work had sent her home cause she was having a panic attack.
One of the nicest smokes I've had in a while.
Would hardly say that it stinks as it barely smells anything during flowering or when smoking it(only smoke pure too)but it is a very nice growing plant and also handles several toppings well and nutes so hard to hurt it, very forgiving plant for new growers : )
The smoke isn't a favorite but its not bad, the high is very nice and relaxed but not totally couch locking though, when harvested in milky its a nice smoke for "everyday" smoke even if one got things planed which is nice.
the stuff my mate grew n im smoking, STINKS
That sharks breath is killer ...was smoking it before my harvest.

I seldom run feminized seeds, but this is the DNA feminized version. I bought a 6 pack a while ago, ran one outdoors that turned out nice this summer. Light but crisp, citrusy type flavor for me. The outdoor was heady stuff for the first half hour or so and then got pretty narcotic afterward. I pulled her in mid November, and there was only like 5-10% amber I'd say. Rock solid dense nuggets...but a good amount of leaf too - a bitch to trim. Very sticky plants as well...the resin extends out pretty far onto some larger fans making for some good trim.
I currently have 4 more left to be harvested which you see in these few pictures. I have one that was pulled a couple days ago currently drying...all milky trichs and it was somewhere in between day 60 and 65. These remaining 4 will go at least 7 more days and we'll see where they are at.
I'll definitely be able to give a better, more thorough report after I sample a few of these as they come down. I will keep you posted. From what I've seen thus far...IMO for the price, it's a nice strain that's very easy to grow and definitely has some potency...we'll see just how much when we get a higher % of amber on some of these remaining girls.
They all grow fairly uniform...a little leafy for me. I only have one "outlier" type pheno that most definitely exhibits strong sativa traits...so I'm guessing it's pretty lambsbread dominant. I'll take pics of her in another couple weeks as she is really slow, but definitely putting out a nice amount of THC over the last couple weeks. I've been tempted to cull her a few times because she wasn't that much of a looker in her young age...but she definitely has turned it around and I'm confident will be some good bud...in due time.
I will also note that these experienced extreme cold temps of probably as low as mid 40's Fahrenheit and a multiple day power outage early in flower. They looked real bad for about a week after that but came through nicely to my surprise. Very resilient plants...and not even a herm to be found.
Pretty low odor...depends on the pheno though. Definitely some skunkier ones out of the 6 total I finished out. For the most part...probably the lowest odor plants i've dealt with, and it even carries into the dry/cure. Very mild smell.
